Cubic [CUB] is providing components for air combat training systems being used at nine U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard sites throughout the United States.
The integration includes new deployable ground stations and Cubic's PC-based combat aircrew display system (ICADS) for portable debriefs and afteraction reviews. The new training pods incorporate GPS satellite technology, which provide the training capability for the air combat maneuvering instrumentation systems.
The system equipment integration is part of the $40 million requirementstype contract the Air Force awarded to Cubic in 2001.
